As of today, the LFT-666 Coupe has an open-top sibling: the LFT-C. Unveiled by Lister at its Lancashire headquarters, this car (chassis 01 of 10) is a heavily tuned Jaguar F-Type R, offered from £139,000 ($175,396) in Britain, with countless optional extras and a 7-year warranty.

The new LFT-C features the same suspension, brakes, exhaust and wheels as the LFT-666, along with carbon fiber body panels. It also gets a new front bumper with splitter, grille, rear diffuser, lip spoiler and wider wheel arches.

The exterior upgrades have been designed to help it reach a top speed in excess of 205 mph (330 km/h), while 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes just a little over 3 seconds. Powering it is Jag’s 5.0-liter, supercharged V8, which has been tuned to produce 666 horsepower. Lister says this is their most powerful convertible ever.

“The noise of the 666hp Lister-tuned V8 is incredible with the roof down and the styling adds real aggression to the looks”, said Lister’s CEO, Lawrence Whittaker. “To launch a new car is always a special moment for me, but the LFT-C also finds a place in the Lister history books as the fastest open-top Lister ever made, overtaking the mighty Le Mans. This is a very special, very exclusive car.”

Open the door and you will see a modern interior with a few upgrades of its own. This example has been created to the owner’s specification and features hand-stitched Nappa leather that covers pretty much every element, including the dashboard and roof lining.

Lister is already taking orders for the LFT-C. Nonetheless, future buyers should expect to take delivery of the car sometime next year, as the entire allocation for 2019 is already sold out.
