Dacia Duster Goes Back To The Future With Dashing Digital Makeover

Sometimes, it’s okay to think out of the box and do something no one expects. When the end result is something with a Dacia badge, instead of the supercars everyone’s been messing with, you’ve got yourselves an eyebrow-raiser.

The vehicle that looks like it came from a sci-fi movie is the creation of Artyom Trofimenko, and it is his BA Thesis. Since he spent a lot of time imagining it nearly from every possible angle, we thought we’d share it with you.

So, the outside doesn’t look like anything the Romanian automaker would try out in the foreseeable future, not even in concept form. But what about inside? Fortunately, its creator has imagined it with a fully functioning interior, too which, again, in this design, is something that would give lots of rivals, not just budget ones, a serious run for their money.

The cockpit appears to have been inspired by the 2008 BMW Gina Concept, having a similar principle for some of the moving parts. Elsewhere, there’s a digital screen behind the squared steering wheel, which we believe could expand at the touch/push of a button to fill the entire width of the dashboard. There’s no traditional center console and the SUV has been adorned with light blue details and fitted with ambient lighting.

Judging from the scale of this car against people, being inside it would be like an elevated sport car, driver and his/her companions will not have enough or adequate visibility to see outside which defeat the purpose of an off-roader. (supposedly)… but that is just a digital vision that i like.
