Thought The 812 Superfast Had Slipped Under Mansory’s Radar? Think Again

Somehow, despite being presented in Geneva earlier this year, Mansory’s Ferrari 812 Superfast has flown under the radar. Not because it’s discreet (Heaven forbid…), but because the tuner chose to put the spotlight on other products, like the Bugatti Chiron.

Nevertheless, we came face to face with it after taking another look on Mansory’s website and found out that it’s named Stallone, just like the F12 Berlinetta and 599 GTB before it.

In typical Mansory fashion, the Italian supercar has received a complete makeover.

On the outside, it sports many carbon fiber parts, such as a front splitter and rear diffuser, side canards, fender vents, hood and rear wing. The company said that “all components fit like a glove in the Italian series design”, and that they’re joined by 9.5×21 front and 12×22 rear wheels,3r wrapped in 265/30 and 335/25 tires, respectively, and lowering springs.

Open the door and you will find yourselves face to face with the kitschy striking cabin, which combines red and black leather with yellow piping, Alcantara and carbon fiber trim. Mansory has also added stitched logos, illuminated door sills, aluminum pedals and a new steering wheel, designed especially for the 812 Superfast.

The final upgrade concerns the 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12, which now pumps out 830 PS (818 hp / 610 kW) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque. That’s 30 PS (30 hp / 22 kW) and 22 Nm (16 lb-ft) more than the stock item, which accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and tops out at 340 km/h (211 mph).

I think I throw up a little. This has got to be against the Geneva convention or something because this cruel and unreasonable punishment – both for the car and my eyes.

    • didn’t I step my game up? Look at all the angry mobs after me! :p

    Business plan:

Mansory: So you know sexy cars that are like, as much as most people’s home? Yeah, we’re going to make them ugly as hell with the most expensive materials we can get a loan for. Then, and only then, we call people in Dubai to buy them and when they’re all like “Buh why?” we hit em’ with “Its a 1 of 1, sir”. I’m telling you guys, this will work!!! If you get any push back, just tell them they’re “rare”.

Intern: They’re rare because they’re ugly

Mansory: Exactly, I just said that, they’re rare.

The interior is fine… and the color is fine… and the black inserts are fine… but when you put all those things together, the result is not fine. It’s just wrong.

  • SteersUright

Wow, this looks more garish than the new Corvette. It even looks like it stole the Corvette’s steering wheel.
This is no Ferrari for me, sorry. This is a tarted up, very expensive C7-looking embarrassment to the brand.
