    VW. Boring……

    • SetNick

Not really. Look at all their brands together. They fit a certain type of buyers needs. You can go to VW, Audi, Porsche, and even Lamborghini (US based reader) and they line up well. VW is their entry point on “fun.” But as the markets swell up will all kinds of abominations we call vehicles, we are going to lose the finer detailing.

Auto pilot this, auto pilot that. Y’all want to stop driving yourselves so why call VW boring? Just a question.

      • Ryan

I think some people just dont like FWD economy cars. I don’t get the appeal other than cheap and German.

        • javier

gti really is a good car

    • McFly

I think people who are looking for “fun” cars in these segments are doing it wrong.

  • Six_Tymes

All models and trim levels are Overpriced.

    • SetNick

Yes the prices for VWs and for any manufacturer has gone up. Let’s hear it for economics…but as Spock would say, “that is highly illogical.”

  • Craig

Getting rid of the Alltrack is an incredibly stupid move. It’s the only thing they have that is cross-shopped with the Subaru Crosstek. [Which is extremely popular]

    • George Beier

I love my AllTrack! And I had a 325XI wagon. The VW compares very favorably to a car that’s more than twice the price.

      • javier

exactly, they don’t make enough money on it

  • vincent cascino

    No Golf R?

  • Alexandro Pietro

The first look of this photo,I think I was seeing a Cadillac! What a disapoint!

  • MikeyOrange

Stupid to get rid of the wagons… Hopefully VW Canada does not follow suit

    • performante

Probably will. Reason being, Golf production will cease in Mexico and will move back to Wolfsburg exclusively – for the MK8.

  • Romain AA

Not ONE single attractive model here. the whole VW lineup is so bland, it is hard to believe

    • Aaron Schmitz

Maybe, but at least they don’t look as stupid as the Toyota’s and Honda’s. Fake air intakes, sharp edges everywhere and big dumb grills.

      • MayTheBestCarWin05

        hahah

      • Lemuel Taylor

I see fake air intakes here as well. It’s standard all across the industry not just the Japanese.

  • charlotteharry57

The changes are mosttly irrelevant, following the decision to downgrade the warranty (which was probably the main reason sales had been rising). Sales will tank; just you watch.

  • WalthamDan

Let’s see. A smaller lineup of available vehicles. Reduced value of their warranty program. A ‘meh’ upgrade to the Passat which has lost most of the small market share that it had. A Jetta that never caused much of a stir when it was redesigned. They’ll have to hope they can really push Atlas and Tiguan sales in 2020. Fire up the incentives Jorgen

“Cuts The Golf Down To A Single Trim”

So Golf Value Edition, Golf GTI and Golf GTI S are a single trim? Hmmmmmm………..interesting.

  • KidRed

The Passat bumper is a WTF were they thinking design decision.

    • Bo Hanan

Cadillac designers were consulted on it.

  • KidRed

The Tiguan is almost perfect, but its the FRS of SUVs and needs more power.
