21 Vehicles From The Late Paul Walker’s Collection Heading To Auction

No less than 21 vehicles owned by the late Paul Walker will be up for sale at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale Auction in January 2020.

The collection includes a wide variety of cars and motorcycles from different eras and parts of the world. Two of the highlights are a pair of E30-generation BMW M3s from 1988 and 1991 respectively. As if that wasn’t enough, no less than five BMW E36 M3 Lightweight models will cross the auction block.

What’s impressive is that the actor, who perished in a tragic accident, owned five of these, considering that just 115 units were ever built. A used example sold on Bring A Trailer a couple of years ago for $154,000, so there’s no doubt these ones will fetch a pretty penny.

Things don’t stop there. Walker was also a fan of muscle cars from the 1960s, thus heading for sale will be a 1963 Chevrolet Nova Wagon, a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Wagon and a 1967 Chevrolet II Nova. Another highlight is a 1995 Ford Bronco, while other cars include a modified 2009 Nissan 370Z that was featured in Fast Five, a 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302S and a 2003 Ford F-250 pickup.

Paul Walker’s character in Fast and Furious, Brian O’Conner, loved his Japanese sports cars. As fate would have it, the actor himself shared the same passion, so a 1989 Nissan R32 Skyline GT-R that also belonged in his collection will be up for grabs as well.

  • Mr. EP9

    Dude had 5 E36 Lightweights?

He must have really loved those things.

  • Nastinupe1911

So no Eclipse’s, Supra’s or R34’s. Hummmm. Interesting. I would have assumed that he would have at least had a Supra or R34.

    • Denzel

He does but it’s not up for auction. They have a video of his collection

      • Six_Tymes

        they do,
you can see it in the video collection.

  • Craig

A sad reminder that you can’t [AND DON’T] take it with you.

    • Bo Hanan

Agree 100%. This has to be hard for his family.

  • SteersUright

Why would someone want 5 of the same car?

    • Salih Ahzem

Someone who saw the potential of them rise in value in time and keep them before others. Besides, some guys just love it more to collect stuff rather than the actual thing itself, being able to say ” I have 5 of these” is only possible in this way.

      • Jaani Kääpä

Pretty much this. There’s people with 5-6 Veyrons (of the same model and so on). However, there might be slightly different modifications on those BMWs… One for drifting and so on. Doubtful though. However, I sort of expected the collection to be… Better. Unless the estate has kept those from the auction.

  • Benjamin B.

    I assumed that as well

  • Matt

I doubt you’d buy 5 very rare cars to use as donors for your track car. That makes almost no sense.

  • Richie Rich

Sad. From what I’ve read, Paul was a cool guy and was warm with everyone. Left behind a young daughter. RIP.
