It’s time to check your finances again, as another interesting creation has popped up for sale. It’s a heavily modified 2017 Ford F-550 Super Duty, turned into a six-wheeler, baptized the ‘Indomitus’.

Its name means ‘untamed, un-subdued, ungoverned, unrestrained, untamable, ungovernable, fierce and wild’, according to its creators. The truck is listed on UniqueMankato in Minnesota with less than 13,000 miles (20,920 km) on the odometer and costs a hefty $145,000, nearly 4 times the price of a new F-550 XL.

Made by Diesel Brothers for the Minnesota Soybean Research Council and featured on Discovery Channel’s reality show, the Indomitus (hard to get used to that name) boasts three fully functional axles. The Readylift suspension has added 7 inches (17.8 cm) to the ground clearance, there’s an adjustable four-link suspension setup while the truck rides on 40-inch tires, wrapped around the DBL wheels.

The truck is painted in a Giverny Green shade accented by decals, while other exterior modifications include aftermarket front and rear bumpers, custom fiberglass fenders at the back and an ‘Indomitus’ badge on the visor.

As crazy as it may look on the outside, the interior has been left pretty much untouched with a rather dull choice of colors like the grey cloth upholstery.

Firepower is provided by a 6.7-liter turbodiesel V8 engine that churns out 440 horsepower and 925 pound-feet (1,254 Nm) of torque straight from the factory. Channeling it to the three axles is a 6-speed automatic transmission.
