A lot has been said about Fisker’s all-electric SUV, yet we still do not know its official name. However, all that’s about to change sometime this week, as the company will announce what their Tesla Model Y rival will be called.
In a series of posts made on social media last Thursday, Fisker said that along with revealing the name of the zero-emission high-riding vehicle, they will also disclose when and where they will lift the curtain for it.
Also, accompanying the announcement is a short teaser video that previews the front quarter design of the car, revealing the slim headlight with incorporated LED DRLs, another LED strip located further down in the bumper, plastic cladding on the lower parts of the body and 7-spoke alloy wheels. The vehicle has a grey paint finish to go with the black roof and side mirror caps. The illuminated door handles seem to have a pop-out design of some sort.
From a previous teaser, we know that Fisker’s electric SUV has some kind of a “convertible” roof, operated at the push of a button. Whether it’s a traditional sunroof that slides all the way back or perhaps another system, one thing is certain: occupants will enjoy an open-top view of the sky above.
The firepower will come from two electric motors, mounted on the front and rear axles, and an 80 kWh battery pack which, when fully charged, should allow the SUV to travel for around 300 miles (483 km) before needing any more juice. Pricing should start at under $40,000.
Announcements next week: 1.)Official name of the new all-electric Fisker SUV 2.)When & where the live reveal will take place! #fisker #suv #electric #electricvehicle #evs #electriccar #cars #new #comingsoon #thursday #green #clean #reveal #lifestyle #trends #technology #tech #drive
