McLaren Automotive and Chinese smartphone giant OnePlus have collaborated for the second time unveiling the new OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition.
The two companies first collaborated in 2018 with the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition and their latest phone is based around the ‘standard’ OnePlus 7T Pro but comes complete with a host of new features.
Most significantly, the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition comes standard with 256 GB of storage and 12GM of RAM. It is also outfitted with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. In addition, the phone comes with a special 30W charger with a Papaya Orange cable and the phone’s rear glass panel includes orange accents and a unique pattern that shimmers under direct light.
All OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition models also ship with a special case made from Alcantara and carbon fiber.
“Following last year’s successful ‘Salute to Speed’ launch we’re excited to once again be launching a limited-edition McLaren device with our partner OnePlus,” McLaren Automotive chief executive Mike Flewitt said. “We are two challenger brands whose restless pursuit of innovation reaches its pinnacle with the new OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition celebrates our brands’ shared passion for design, craftsmanship and innovation and we look forward to seeing how this is received by McLaren and technology fans worldwide.“
UK pricing for the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition starts at £799 (US$993) in the UK. There are no current plans to sell the device in the U.S.
