Goddammit! Delivery Guy Tries To Slice Half A Second Off, Instantly Regrets It

This delivery driver ended up…delivering a little more than he originally intended after crashing through the gate of a house he was making a drop off.

Security camera footage from outside the house shows the man, driving a pickup truck, pull up in front of the house’s gate. He swings open the car door and looks like reaching for the doorbell while placing his right foot on the brake pedal to stop the car rolling away. However, he appears to accidentally hit the accelerator, sending the pickup right into the gate.

The guy behind the wheel was clearly frustrated by his stupid decision to try and save a second or two by not putting the car in Park and engaging the handbrake as he can be seen smashing the steering wheel with his hands and screaming loudly. Captured audio indicates that the driver got on the intercom with the house owner (or called them), where he admitted to hitting the gate and apologized.

Online commentators support that the incident was filmed somewhere in the U.S. but it’s not specified exactly where. However, we have a suspicion it was in a rather wealthy area, making the saga all the worse for the insurance company of the truck driver, as repairing an electronic sliding gate clearly won’t be cheap.

I think the more concerning issue here is the guys spastic, mental patient response. What a freak

How is it possible to be so idiot?

    • db

One good doobie and a lot of practice.

  • Six_Tymes

    mental problems

  • Mr. Big

Judging by the stupidity of the driver and the presence of palm trees, this no doubt happened in Florida.

    • Aelwyn

I was just thinking the exact thing.

    • James Denz

There are palm trees in California, Arizona, Nevada, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, South Carolina, Georgia, to name a few. There are dumb drivers in all of these states. No need to single out Florida.

      • Mr. Big

The palm tree was just one indicator, the idiot driver pretty much pinned this on Florida. His second car has got to be a Mustang.

    • J. P.

Has to be my brother, stupid idiot

  • TheBelltower

    That would really suck.

    • Ben
