Last year, we showed you a preview of ABT Sportsline’s take on the SQ8 performance SUV.

Now, the German tuner has dropped full details about the tuning program for the Audi SQ8 which brings styling and powertrain upgrades. The first change you’ll notice is the complete aero kit consisting of front skirt add-on, rear skirt insert including quad tailpipes and an extended rear roof spoiler.

As always, ABT Sportsline offers a selection of custom wheels. In this case, there are three different models available: The GR in glossy black or matte black, HR Aero in dark smoke and HR-F in shadow silver. All these wheels are offered in a size of 22 inches, though the HR-F version also comes in a 23-inch version available in dark smoke and shadow silver.

Upon request, the aftermarket specialist can give the SQ8 an ABT Power performance upgrade which boosts the 4.0-liter V8 TDI engine’s power from 435 PS (429 HP) to 510 PS (503 HP). Peak torque also rises from 900 (664 lb-ft) to 970 Nm (715 lb-ft) of torque. As a result, the gargantuan SUV covers the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 4.6 seconds, compared to 4.8 seconds in the stock SQ8.

ABT engineers also improved the large SUV’s dynamics courtesy of a three-stage ABT Level Control (ALC) lowering kit for the adaptive air suspension. By lowering the center of gravity, ABT’s Audi SQ8 should deliver improved cornering abilities. The ALC system offers Comfort, Sport and Loading Level modes that lower the SQ8 by up to 65 mm (2.5 in) compared to the standard model’s Comfort mode.

Rounding off the customizing program are interior modifications such as full carbon seat frame covers, door welcome lights, and aluminum start-stop button.
