The Toyota Camry is big not only in the United States but also in the Russian Federation.

The midsize sedan is so popular over there that Toyota is offering it in a special edition exclusively for Russia. It’s called the Camry S-Edition and it brings a number of styling and equipment upgrades. For starters, S-Edition models have a two-tone exterior combining a pearl white body with standard black roof, A-pillars, mirror caps, boot lid spoiler, and door inserts.

However, one can also have the Camry S-Edition in all-black and these are pretty much all the available paints.

Described as “the most daring version of the model in the history of Russia,” the Toyota Camry also features two-tone 18-inch alloys, red accents on the front and rear bumpers, taillights with black inserts, and S-Edition logo on the trunk lid.

The sporty theme carries over inside with the sports front seats, red stitching on the seats, dashboard and center armrest, as well as red inserts on all seats.

Unfortunately, the dynamic character of the Camry S-Edition is not backed by a powertrain upgrade. The only engine choice is the 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder gasoline unit rated at 181 PS (179 HP) and 231 Nm (170 lb-ft) of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard and sends power to the front wheels only.

The Camry S-Edition starts at 2,104,000 rubles ($33,500) in Russia and the good news is it comes with standard all-LED exterior lighting, Toyota Safety Sense kit and Winter Comfort heating package, among other things.
