Accidents are never fun, but we can’t imagine the feeling after crashing into a brand new McLaren. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to Paul D.

In a Facebook post, Paul revealed his BMW X5 was sideswiped and this sent the crossover into a 720S which was parked outside McLaren Scottsdale.

Details are limited, but the force of the impact was so great that it pushed the 720S through the glass window and into another 720S which was sitting inside the showroom.

As you can see in the pictures, the silver 720S took the brunt of the damage as its front fascia and hood were destroyed in the crash. To make matters worse, the car was apparently parked at an angle so part of the rear end slammed into a brick wall while the other half went into the showroom.

The part that hit the wall was obliterated, while the section that went into the showroom suffered slightly less damage. Thankfully, the orange 720S that got hit in the chain reaction crash only appears to have suffered minor damage. As you can see in the pictures, the paint is scuffed up and the front end is a little worse for wear.

There’s no word on how much damaged was caused, but Paul said “Glad it wasn’t my fault or ya boy [I] would be filing bankruptcy in the quickness. Bruhh.”

We reached out to McLaren Scottsdale for more information, but the dealership declined to shed more light on the incident with the general manager saying it was simply an accident so “there’s nothing more to say or comment on at this point.”
