The current Bentley Continental GT is absolutely gorgeous and this rendering shows that it could look even better if sold in Shooting Brake guise.

Bentley’s designers did a superb job with the latest-generation Continental GT, making it appear vastly more sleek and sporty than its predecessor. It’s highly unlikely a Shooting Brake variant will hit the market – at least not as a regular production model, but the shape of the Grand Tourer lends itself beautifully to such a body style.

Rain Prisk’s creation has seen the roofline of the Bentley altered with it now extending further back and joining up with a small rear window. The designer also decided to ditch the taillights of the standard Continental GT and replace them with slim LED units somewhat similar in shape to those of the limited-run Bentley Mulliner Bacalar.

Other changes made to the car include the fitment of aftermarket five-spoke wheels with red lug nuts. There is also a small third LED brake light incorporated into the small roof spoiler.

While we do not expect Bentley to bring a Continental GT Shooting Brake into production, we have some hope we could see one in the future. If we do ever see a Continental Shooting Brake with a Bentley badge, it would likely be built by a coachbuilder as a one-off. However, there’s always a chance, however slim it may be, that Bentley itself could produce a limited-run ‘Mulliner’ Shooting Brake with a sky-high price tag, similar to what it has done with the Bacalar.
