Lister is working on what it says will be the world’s fastest SUV and has just previewed the vehicle with a new teaser video.

This likely isn’t the first time you’ve heard of a new SUV being developed by Lister. Roughly two years ago, Lister unveiled its Jaguar F-Pace-based LFP, coined as the world’s fastest SUV. It remains unclear what has happened since then but this teaser reveals the SUV’s name has been changed to the Lister Stealth and perhaps upgraded even further.

Much like the F-Pace SVR, the Lister Stealth will feature a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine. However, a host of modifications will be made to this powertrain so it pumps out no less than 666 hp.

This added grunt will help push the Stealth through to 60 mph (96 km/h) in a mere 3.5 seconds and allow it to hit a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h), thus securing the title of the world’s fastest SUV.

It’s clear from the teaser that a host of visual modifications will also distinguish the Stealth from a regular F-Pace SVR. For example, there will be a revised front fascia with new carbon fiber accents. There is also a carbon fiber rear diffuser, distinctive gloss black wheels, new exhausts, and Lister badging.

Lister has offered no indication as to when the Stealth will be introduced but the clip does offer some consolation in the form of an audio track of the SUV’s devilish exhaust system.
