The third part in the ‘Need for Speed in Real Life’ series hit YouTube a few days ago and this one could be our favorite yet.

The first two installments in the series went online last year and quickly racked up millions of views. This particular one is the best to date and was filmed to mimic Need for Speed: Most Wanted, arguably one of the finest games in the Need for Speed series.

On a personal note, Need for Speed: Most Wanted was one of the first racing games I ever played and helped me get hooked on cars. Anyone who played the original version of Most Wanted, not the newer one released in 2012, will be filled with nostalgia when watching this video.

The opening few seconds mimic the launch screen of the original game and include the same soundtrack. The hero car of the game, a custom E46-generation BMW M3 GTR, is the star of the clip and is filmed driving through the streets and participating in a series of races. Our favorite moment in the video happens at the 1:40 mark when the M3 comes across a Ford Mustang undercover police car that quickly gives chase. However, the BMW is too fast and is able to flee.

Other cars featured in the clip alongside the M3 GTR are a VW Golf GTI, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7, Porsche Cayman, Mazda RX-8, and a Toyota Supra.
