California, in particular the areas around Los Angeles, is home to many rich people and what do the wealthy love just as much as buying property, sipping on expensive champagne, and avoiding taxes minimizing their tax obligations? Exotic cars.

Technically, California is still in lockdown, but some reprieve will come later this week when restrictions start to be eased. Earlier in the week, however, dozens of exotic car owners decided to gather together at the Malibu Country Mart for an impromptu car show. YouTuber and photographer effspot was there to catch the action.

There’s a big variety in the cars that were at the event which is nice to see as it wasn’t exclusively catered towards supercars but also open to enthusiasts of other less expensive cars.

On the Italian front, there were a number of Lamborghinis including some Murcielagos and a white Aventador SV. There was also a lovely yellow Pagani Zonda on display as well as a Ferrari F355 Challenge. Another eye-catcher was a purple Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, filmed just a few spaces away from a purple McLaren 720S Spider.

The first half of the video is dedicated to the impromptu car show which was shut down by local police while the second half features effspot cruising the streets of Los Angeles on the hunt for some supercars.

Anyone who’s been to LA, in particular areas around Hollywood and Beverly Hills, will know it’s a superb place to spot exotics and despite lockdown, many supercar owners were out and about enjoying the sunshine. This included the owner of a white Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport outfitted with custom bronze wheels and red racing stripes.
