Codemasters has just released its first full gameplay trailer for F1 2020, the official video game of the 2020 FIA Formula One world championship.

The game is scheduled to be released on Friday, July 10 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox One X, PC and Google Stadia for an MSRP of $59,99. Those who purchase the F1 2020 Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition ($69,99) will also receive exclusive content and three days early access.

By opting for the latter, you gain access to a 1991 Jordan 191, a 1994 Benetton B194, a 1995 Benetton B195 and the 2000 Ferrari F1-2000.

As you can see, the trailer also features Formula 2 action, as this tier makes its return following its successful debut last year. For 2020, Formula 2 will be fully integrated into Career Mode, allowing you to choose from a full, half-season and a three-race challenge option. Players will initially have access to the 2019 F2 season, with the 2020 season coming later this year as a free update.

There are a total of 16 classic cars featured in F1 2020, and in chronological order they are: 1990 McLaren MP4/5B, 1990 Ferrari 641, 1991 McLaren MP4/6, 1992 Williams FW14, 1996 Williams FW18, 1998 McLaren MP4-13, 1988 McLaren MP4/4, 2003 Williams FW25, 2004 Ferrari F2004, 2006 Renault R26, 2007 Ferrari F2007, 2008 McLaren MP4-23, 2009 Brawn BGP 001, 2010 McLaren MP4-25, 2010 Ferrari F10 and the 2010 Red Bull RB6.

“The first in-game trailer has become a key moment in the F1 game campaign and this year is no exception,” said Codemasters’ F1 Franchise game director, Lee Mather. “Each season we raise the visual benchmark, and with more circuits and teams getting new liveries. We can’t wait for the season to start and for players to be able to race.”
