The Batman won’t hit theaters until October 2021, but director Matt Reeves teased the new Batmobile back in March.

Fast forward to today and we’re getting a better look at the model as concept artist Jeff Frost posted several pictures on his website.

While the images were quickly removed, they were downloaded and reposted on Twitter where they were noticed by a number of sites including Slashfilm.

As you can see, the images closely match the earlier teasers and reveal more details about the upcoming Batmobile. Starting up front, there’s a beefy bumper with integrated push bars. The model also has vertical air intakes, slender headlights and a wide grille with red illumination.

Moving further back, we can see bulging front fenders and a unique hood. The model also has a relatively open cockpit with two seats and an apparent roll cage.

The open design continues out back as there’s no rear fascia. This leaves the rear-mounted engine exposed, which probably isn’t the caped crusader’s greatest idea.

As you can tell from the images, this version of the Batmobile looks more like a modified car than some of specially designed vehicle like the Tumbler that was featured in Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise which stared Christian Bale.

Little is known about the movie at this point, but it was star Robert Pattinson who will play the title character as Ben Affleck has hung up his cape. The movie will also feature Zoë Kravitz (Catwoman), Paul Dano (The Riddler) and Jeffrey Wright as police commissioner James Gordon. Andy Serkis will take over as butler Alfred, while Colin Farrell will play The Penguin.
