Jeep has officially announced its new Easter egg contest, which we first reported on earlier this week.

While the dates have changed, the contest remains largely the same as the company is asking fans to create an Easter egg for an upcoming model.

To enter the contest, users need to visit TheNextJeepEasterEgg.com and provide a description of their Easter egg idea. However, the contest is only open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old.

Entries will be judged by executives and designers on four criteria including creativity, originality, and “Jeep Brand Power” which is how well the proposed Easter egg is “in line with the Jeep brand spirit and is worthy of inclusion in the rare library of Jeep Easter eggs.” Entries will also be judged on how clear and understandable they are as well as how “actionable” the idea is.

The contest is currently live and runs through July 2nd. The winner will be announced on July 31st and they’ll receive a new Jeep of their choice valued at up to $50,000.

Jeep has a long history of hiding Easter eggs in their vehicles and the first appeared on the 2011 Grand Cherokee. It featured small Jeep grilles on the headlamp bulb shields.

In a statement, Jeep Global President Christian Meunier said “With a history of nearly 80 years filled with memorable experiences past and present, we believe that the ideas submitted by our global community will be ones that only Jeep and its owners, fans and followers can uniquely tell.”
