Porsche offers three crossovers, but the company has so far refused to build a pickup truck.

While most people are happy about that, there’s at least one owner who could use a little more cargo room.

As you can see in this photo posted by Canada’s Woodstock Police Service, the driver of a 968 was busted for trying to haul a hot tub with their sports car. Since it was obviously too large to fit into the back, they jerry rigged together a makeshift trailer.

The trailer – if you can even call it that – appears to be constructed out of a hand truck which had several boards laid on top of it. These were then tied into the rear of the Porsche.

Unsurprisingly, this raised a few eyebrows and several people called police about the potentially dangerous situation. They responded and found the hot tub being towed by a 54-year-old man.

The unnamed driver was ticketed for careless driving and they shared the incident on Facebook to remind people to tow things safely. As Constable D’Annibale said “Had this hot tub became unattached from the homemade trailer that it was being towed on, [it] would have caused serious damage and injury to anyone in its path.”

The Woodstock Police Service went on remind drivers that trailers need to be registered, equipped with proper lights and outfitted with a good trailer hitch. Simply throwing some wood on a cart, obviously doesn’t qualify.
