A series of updates have been made to the 2021 Range Rover Sport in North America and other markets.

In the U.S., the most significant update comes in the form of the HSE Silver Edition and SVR Carbon Edition models. The former of these two enjoy a Shadow Atlas finish on the front grille surround, hood vent inserts, door handles, and Range Rover lettering on the hood and tailgate. It also comes equipped with unique 21-inch five split-spoke Gloss Black alloy wheels with a Diamond Turned finish. Customers can also option the HSE Silver Edition in Fuji White, Santorini Black, Firenze Red, Eiger Grey, Lantau Bronze, Hakuba Silver, and Carpathian Grey.

As for the 2021 Range Rover Sport SVR Carbon Edition, it receives an exposed carbon fiber center section of the hood, front bumper insert surrounds, main grille and vent surrounds, and various other carbon accents. It also sits on its own 22-inch Gloss Black forged alloy wheels.

Another new addition to the range is the ‘Premium Black Pack’, offered exclusively for the Range Rover Sport P525 HSE Dynamic and including gloss black detailing on the hood and tailgate lettering, grille mesh and surround, fender and hood vent surrounds, and mirror caps. There is also a black contrast roof and a choice of black 21- or 22-inch wheels.

Inside, the updates continue. Land Rover notes that SE models come standard with grained leather upholstery and 14-way adjustable front seats while HSE Silver Edition, HST, and HSE Dynamic models are outfitted with Windsor leather 16-way adjustable front seats. Autobiography variants have 22-way adjustable front seats. Also featured is configurable ambient lighting, and a 2.1 gallon (7.8 liter) center console with an available cooler compartment or an optional refrigerator.

All 2021 Range Rover Sport models feature the carmaker’s Touch Pro Duo infotainment system that includes two 10-inch touchscreens while supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is also a 12-inch interactive digital gauge cluster and a Head-Up Display.

On the powertrain front, a host of four-, six-, and eight-cylinder petrol and diesel engines are available, including mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.

Sitting at the base of the family is the Range Rover Sport SE with a mild-hybrid 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six Ingenium engine delivering 355 hp and 365 lb-ft (495 Nm), priced from $69,500. The least powerful engine of the bunch is the available 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 diesel of the Range Rover Sport HSE Silver Edition that is good for 254 hp and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm).

Also offered is a plug-in hybrid 2.0-liter turbocharged Ingenium powertrain delivering 398 hp and 472 lb-ft (640 Nm) as well as a modified mild-hybrid 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six with 395 hp and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm). Standard models equipped with the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 have 518 hp and 461 lb-ft (625 Nm) while SVR models feature this same engine but uprated to 575 hp and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm).
