Toyota has announced the details of the 2021 Land Cruiser series 200, which retains the special Heritage Edition model but will be available this time with a third-row option as well.

Apart from that, changes over the 2021 model year are virtually non-existent, with the Heritage Edition adding two new exterior colors, Midnight Black Metallic and Blizzard Pearl to the existing Classic Silver Metallic and Magnetic Gray Metallic.

The 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition features a black-accented front grille, a set of bronze 18-inch BBS forged aluminum wheels, and vintage-style ‘Land Cruiser’ exterior badges.

Prices for the 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser series 200 start from $85,515, with the Heritage Edition asking for $87,845. Prices for the seven-seater Heritage Edition model will be announced closer to its start of production this September.

Under the skin, everything remains untouched, with the 5.7-liter V8 still providing an ample 381 HP and 401 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and of course a full-time 4WD system with a Torsen limited-slip center differential and a two-speed transfer case.

The 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser series 200 comes with the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, which adjusts hydraulically the stabilizer bars for both better on-road smoothness and enhanced wheel articulation when driving off-road. Systems like Downhill Assist Control, Hill Start Assist, Crawl Control, and Off-Road Turn Assist will help you go further off the road.

Toyota’s Safety Sense P active safety systems range is also standard across the lineup and includes everything from a Pre-Collision System to Lane Departure Alert and from the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control to Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

As for comfort, the 2021 Land Cruiser comes pretty loaded with features such as ventilated front seats, four-zone automatic climate control with 28 cabin air vents, a power moon roof, and a heated steering wheel among others.

The infotainment system operates through a nine-inch touchscreen display and features an advanced JBL audio system with 14 speakers, Siri Eyes Free mode, Sirius XM satellite radio, and split-screen capability. A wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones is also present.
