Mil-Spec’s latest Hummer H1 project is apparently the most off-road capable they have ever created, and at $300,000, it certainly is one seriously expensive piece of kit.

Power comes from a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine mated to an Allison 6-speed automatic transmission. In total, this H1 will put down 500 HP and a very impressive 1,000 lb-ft (1,355 Nm) of torque – of which you need every last lb-ft in order to properly exploit such a heavy truck.

The new heavy-duty drivetrain configuration also includes redesigned front and rear drive shafts, carrier bearings, motor mounts and transmission crossmember. There’s also a Wilwood 6-piston high performance brake package to provide adequate stopping power.

In terms of visuals, this customized H1 comes with a four-door hardtop configuration, blacked-out Onyx paint, Deep Sky Black Kevlar-infused polyurethane coating and semi-gloss black accents.

Other mods include the heavy-duty rocker panel skid plates, the Bumper Tow Package with integrated two-inch ball hitch, and the reverse camera system. The Baja Suspension Package meanwhile doubles wheel travel to 13-inches for increased high-speed dampening and off-road handling.

As for the interior, you get a custom-machined steering wheel, onyx colored Nappa leather with quilted stitching, a custom gauge layout with anodized black bezels and billet aluminum door lock pulls finished in black powder-coat. Last, but not least, there’s a JL Audio premium sound system, for when you’d rather listen to something else other than that V8 diesel.

While this particular truck was built for a client, Mil-Spec will be accepting new orders from interested parties.
