This Is The Interior Of The Lordstown Endurance Electric Pickup

The first photos of the all-electric Lordstown Endurance pickup truck’s interior have been revealed, showcasing what customers have to look forward to.

Much like the exterior of the truck, the interior offers a mixture of simple utilitarian design with modern technologies and features. For example, an all-digital instrument cluster appears to be neatly joined by a large infotainment screen sitting atop the dashboard.

Elsewhere, the Endurance has a rugged-looking four-spoke steering wheel. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the interior is the gargantuan center console unit separating the two front seats.

We can see this area houses two cup holders, a slot to store your smartphone, and a rotary dial for the gears. There is also an electronic parking brake switch and a Start/Stop button with a yellow accent around it. No photos of the truck’s second-row seats have been released at this stage.

From a mechanical standpoint, we know the Lordstown Endurance will have four in-wheel hub motors that combine to produce 600 hp. The company has yet to state the capacity of the battery pack, but says the truck will hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in roughly 5.5 seconds and continue through to a limited top speed of 80 mph (128 km/h).

The truck should be good for about 250 miles (402 km) of range per charge on the EPA cycle. It will take 30 minutes to 1.5 hours to charge the battery pack to 95 per cent capacity through a Level 3 DC charging or about 10 hours using a Level 2 7kW AC charger.
