The all-electric Pininfarina Battista will reach the hands of customers in early 2021 and arrive with a newly-announced audio system.

To ensure future owners can enjoy listening to music while cruising around in their near-2000 hp hypercar, Pininfarina has partnered with Naim Audio. Together, the two companies have developed a unique audio system for the Battista that delivers 1300 watts of power.

The audio system consists of 10 speakers arranged throughout the cabin and includes a Dual Voice Coil subwoofer between the driver and passenger seats, as well as super-tweeters located behind the seats and in the panels of the Battista’s doors.

Naim Audio says it has drawn on the expertise of its fellow VerVent Audio brand, Focal, in perfecting the speakers for the Battista’s cabin. Tuning is optimized for both driver and passenger and the symmetrical speaker layout promises to create an auditorium-like studio effect.

“I am thrilled that our first EV hypercar audio system has been created specifically for the groundbreaking Battista by Automobili Pininfarina. In the electric vehicle era, audio becomes more important than ever,” Naim Audio managing director Charlie Henderson said.

“At cruising speeds, the nature of Battista will be serene and peaceful and in this scenario, sound quality will be critical. We see this as a fantastic opportunity to create an all-new sound experience that is as revolutionary as Battista itself. Using the finest components from audiophile-grade automotive speakers, alongside our expertise in DSP and audio tuning, Battista will offer an exceptional sonic experience.”
