The C8 Corvette Z06 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting performance cars to come out of the United States in recent memory.

Not only will it have a race-derived engine, but will also come loaded with advanced technologies, including active aerodynamics. Moreover, according to a new report, it’s claimed that customers will have three rear wing options to choose from.

Muscle Cars & Trucks reports that the new Z06 it will be available with a lower spoiler similar to the standard one of the C8 Corvette Stingray. This small wing will likely come standard on models without the optional Z07 performance package that will probably add larger brakes, more aggressive aerodynamics, and suspension modifications.

Customers that do opt for the Z07 package will get a large rear wing that’s been spotted on recent prototypes like the ones pictured here. This wing has an intriguing design and will inevitably help increase downforce over the rear wheels. It’s possible that carbon fiber wheels could also could also come as part of the Z07 pack.

Last, but not least, is a comprehensive active aerodynamics package for the Z06 that is expected to include an adjustable rear wing. This suite of new parts probably won’t debut at the Z06’s launch and will be added to select Corvette models, including the ZR1, at a later date instead.

Beyond its aerodynamics, the Corvette Z06 will be powered by a 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 with a flat-plane crank. This engine could rev to 9,000 rpm and is expected to pump out around 625 hp and 485 lb-ft (657 Nm) of torque.
