Shortly after customers started to receive their Bugatti Divos, one of the very first examples was transported to Topaz Detailing in the UK.
The Divo is a very, very special thing. Bugatti is building just 40 examples of the exclusive Chiron-based hypercar, and whereas the Chiron Super Sport 300+ and Pur Sport have a similar bodywork to the standard Chiron, the Divo’s exterior is totally bespoke.
Each example starts at €5 million ($5.9 million), and that’s before any personalization options. Consequently, the owner of this Divo sent it to Topaz to have the exterior covered in a bespoke paint protection film to cover all of the striking body panels and keep them in pristine condition.

The exterior of this particular Divo has matte grey paint across most of the exterior along with a plethora of gloss carbon fiber parts and bright blue accents. Topaz spent approximately two weeks designing, cutting, and applying the paint protection film.
Thanks to its bespoke bodywork, the Divo produces 198 lbs (90 kg) more downforce than the regular Chiron and sports particularly eye-catching taillights with a total of 44 individual fins in a design not dissimilar to the taillights of the Aston Martin Vulcan.
Power comes from the same 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine as the Chiron, which puts out 1,479 hp at 6,700 rpm and a mighty 1,180 lb-ft (1,600 Nm) of torque from 2,000 rpm through to 6,000 rpm. Bugatti says the Divo can knock off the sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.4 seconds before topping out at a limited 236 mph (380 km/h).
