The first trailer for Top Gear’s 29th season has been released and it is shaping up to be heaps of fun and will feature a range of impressive cars.

The trailer kicks off by showing a custom-built motordrome that Chris Harris, Paddy McGuinness, and Freddie Flintoff will be tasked with driving around. It looks seriously sketchy and with the current trio of hilarious presenters, is sure to be a great segment.

Elsewhere, the trailer previews a segment that will feature Chris Harris testing a Ferrari F40 alongside a Jaguar XJ220 being driven by Flintoff and a Lamborghini Diablo piloted by McGuinness. Filming of this segment was cut short when McGuinness crashed the Diablo and the trailer previews the crash that wrecked the Italian exotic.

Other cars tested through Top Gear’s 29th season include the Ferrari SF90 Stradale and the latest Audi RS6 Avant.

It has yet to be revealed when the new season will air but we expect to see it premiere before the end of the year.

As for the other motoring show we all love, The Grand Tour, Jeremy Clarkson revealed back in June that the second feature-length special for the series’ fourth season, also known as the Madagascar special, has been finished. This will be the first episode since the Seamen special debuted late last year that saw Clarkson, Hammond and May driving boats on the Mekong River from Vietnam to Cambodia.
