Customer deliveries of the McLaren Speedtail only recently commenced and the guys over at Topaz Detailing recently had the opportunity to work on a particularly striking model.

Immediately making this Speedtail stand out from all others is its paint. Viewed from the front, it looks just like McLaren’s eye-popping shade of Volcano Red. However, the color gradually darkens along the hypercar’s body and is a deep shade of red at the rear, making it a sight to behold.

This Speedtail is also equipped with dark red carbon fiber aero caps on the front wheels and, while working on the car, Topaz expertly cleaned and detailed every part before applying its trademark paint protection film. Given how effective paint protection options like these are, it is a worthwhile investment for any supercar owner, particularly for a vehicle as valuable as this.

The individual who ordered the car also specced a bespoke engine cover that starts off with normal gloss carbon fiber and then fades into dark red carbon. Inside, the driver’s seat is finished in red leather while the two passenger seats are clad in dark red Alcantara.

Powering the Speedtail is a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain that produces a combined 1,055 hp and 848 lb-ft (1,150 Nm) of torque, enabling it to hit 186 mph (300 km/h) in less than 13 seconds and max out at 250 mph (403 km/h). The Speedtail is going to be a limited run, with just 106 examples being built for customers.
