One of the 7,000 Ford Bronco First Edition models being produced is being auctioned off for charity.

This particular Bronco First Edition is the allotted example received by Calvin and Sarah Ford who were among the Ford family members to secure a reservation. It is a two-door model and all funds raised by the Charity Buzz auction will benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The off-roader has an MSRP of $59,305 but at the time of writing, bidding had already reached $135,000.

The Ford Bronco First Edition in question has been reserved in the limited edition shade of Lightning Blue and will have an interior clad in leather/vinyl Dark Space Grey with Navy Pier accents. Ford will build the vehicle next year and delivery is expected to take place between May and June of 2021 from the Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights dealership.

When Ford unveiled the new-age Bronco back in July, it wasn’t long before the First Edition model sold out. Ford initially capped production of the First Edition to 3,500 examples but due to demand, quickly doubled that figure to 7,000.

Bronco First Edition models combine the mechanicals of the Badlands variant, the interior of the Outer Banks, and the exterior of the Wildtrak. Each First Edition example also comes with the Sasquatch package as standard that includes 35-inch tires with 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, front and rear locking differentials, Bilstein position-sensitive monotube shocks, a 4.7 final drive ratio and high-clearance fender flares.
