McLaren gave us a taste of its personalization options for the new 765LT a couple of weeks back, featuring this three-tone Strata theme by MSO, inspired by a city skyline.

The theme has complex patterns of cityscapes, bold geometric patterns and McLaren F1 racing colors. The base color is Azores Orange, which fuses with Memphis Red and Cherry Black as it advances towards the front end of the 765LT Strata.

The brake calipers are part of the theme too, with the front ones finished in Volcano Red and the rear ones in Azores Orange.

It took McLaren Special Operations 450 hours to put together this car’s paintwork, which extends to the seamlessly integrated MSO Defined Roof Scoop – finished in gloss black on the outside and visual carbon fiber inside the cabin.

“The 765LT Strata Theme by MSO is a stunning demonstration of what can be achieved by our expert team. It serves as either a ready-made design, which can be ordered by your retailer or as inspiration for you to develop your own unique 765LT,” said MSO boss Ansar Ali.

Inside the Strata-themed 765LT you get the MSO logo on each Alcantara headrest, along with the Strata graphic. You also get the same pattern in a dark tint on the MSO Defined Carbon Fiber Extended Door Sills, while MSO Heritage Memphis Red can be found on the push-to-drink system, 12 o’clock marker on the steering wheel and rear of the shifter paddles.

The graphic is also mirrored on the car’s bespoke ignition keys, which took a further 14 hours to paint. No joke.

The new McLaren 765LT is powered by a 755 HP (765 PS) twin-turbo V8 engine, capable of taking you to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.7 seconds. This car can cover a 1/4 mile in just 9.9 seconds and costs upwards of $358,000 (and that’s without the MSO treatment).
