A remastered version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is set to be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 6th, as well as Nintendo Switch on November 13th.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is one of the most beloved titles in the franchise and debuted way back in 1998. However, this remaster isn’t an updated version of the original title, but is instead based on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit from 2010.

With this in mind, the updated game will include the same vehicles and the same cops vs. racers theme. Key updates are focused on taking advantage of modern-day hardware. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit also includes cross-platform multiplayer support so gamers can play with their friends regardless of what system they are using.

Gamers who have a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch can run the game at 1080p at 30 fps, while those using a PlayStation 4 Pro or Xbox One X can select between a 1080p 60fps performance mode and a 4K 30fps ‘fidelity mode.’ Last, but not least, those using PC can play at a maximum of 4K at 60 fps.

The game lands with all of the DLC updates that the original game had, plus an updated photo mode and a range of new achievements. It also includes the Autolog social network that gamers can enjoy.

Console users will be able to purchase Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered for $39.99 on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, while those with a PC can get it from Stream and Origin for $29.99.
