Audi’s decision to bring the RS6 back to North America allowed longtime tuner ABT Sportsline to offer its own take on the super wagon to customers in the region, called the RS6-R.

The model you see in the pictures is the first completed 2021 RS6-R in North America, which was built by Pacific German in California. With ABT limiting the production of the RS6-R to just 125 examples worldwide, this angry wagon is going to be a very exclusive one too.

ABT’s revisions are quite subtle, with the body kit complementing the shape of the wide-arched RS6 rather than turning it into a very aggressive mess; the new parts are made out of carbon-fiber and include a front lip, a front grille add-on, a rear skirt add-on, new side sill attachments, and a new rear spoiler.

The ABT Audi RS6-R sits on new flow-form 22-inch HR wheels and features the company’s exhaust system made out of stainless steel and featuring carbon end pipes. The new exhaust is combined with ABT’s engine ECU upgrade that lifts the output of the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 from the factory 591 HP and 590 lb-ft to 690 HP and 649 lb-ft of torque.

Customers can also opt for ABT’s interior upgrades, which include a carbon trim for the dashboard and new seat frame covers with the RS6-R logo stitched on them. In addition, every ABT Audi RS6-R comes with a special “1 of 125” badge on the dashboard, with the same script appearing on the ABT door sills. ABT offers a warranty of 2 years or 50,000 miles for all its parts in North America.

If you happen to have a new Audi RS6 Avant and want more than the near-600 HP under the bonnet, ABT Sportline should be one of your first choices.
