The first reviews of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class have hit the web and this one from Autogefühl takes a look at the S580 variant.

In the second row, the new S-Class appears very opulent. It offers lots of leg and headroom and, as with other luxury vehicles that compete in this class, the front passenger seat can slide forward, allowing the rear passenger to put their feet up and recline the backrest.

As this is an S5804Matic, it is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system producing a total of 496 hp – more than enough for a vehicle of this kind. When driving the S-Class, the reviewer notes that the four-wheel steering makes it feel much more maneuverable and is also impressed by the advanced augmented reality technology used by the navigation.
