While many tuners are looking to boost power of the new Corvette’s 6.2-liter V8 engine, LG Motorsports has instead developed a series of aerodynamic upgrades to improve its handling and on-track prowess.

The first, and most eye-catching, new part developed by LG Motorsports is a big carbon fiber rear wing. Known as the GT2 wing, it has been designed to maximize downforce without adding too much drag. It is made from carbon fiber, while the uprights are made from lightweight aluminum. An aluminum wicker is also available.

The uprights of the wing mount to the frame of the Corvette, as opposed to simply being affixed to the decklid like the spoilers for the C8 that are available from the factory.

Interested parties will need to cough up $4,561.90 for the wing, mounting kit and the spoiler delete package that eliminates the holes left behind by the standard item.

Elsewhere, LG Motorsports is developing a carbon fiber front splitter for the C8 Corvette but has yet to announce pricing for it, nor has it confirmed when it will be available. Nevertheless, photos show that it will not only look aggressive but also add some downforce to the front end.

Other C8 parts available include new headers ($1,395), a catback exhaust ($2,595.95), a complete exhaust package ($4,995.95), monoball control arm kit ($2,195.95) and a set of new driveshafts that can handle up to 1,400 hp ($1,996.48).
