What you’re looking at is the world’s first C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray outfitted with a Pandem/Rocket Bunny widebody kit.

Owned by Instagram user Toxic_Garages, this C8 Corvette Stingray left the Chevrolet factory painted black but has since been fitted with the Pandem kit, dramatically altering its looks and no doubt turning even more heads on the road than a standard C8.

The Pandem kit starts at the front with a bespoke bumper and an extended lip spoiler. Viewed from the side, it’s impossible not to notice the flared front and rear wheel arches that drastically alter the car’s road presence. Key modifications found at the rear include a towering wing and some rear diffuser add-ons.

The owner of the car has also equipped it with a set of aftermarket matte black wheels wrapped in Toyo tires. It also has an air suspension kit, meaning it can be lowered to just a few millimeters above the pavement while on static display and raised up while being driven on the street.

Given how popular the C8 Corvette has proven to be, particularly among younger buyers, we expect to see many other modified examples hitting the streets in the coming months. As much as we can respect the owner of this example for making such significant modifications, this more subtle C8 Corvette from RSC Tuning is a little more to our tastes.

For Corvette owners who think the Pandem kit is a little too tame, a company by the name of Competition Carbon recently previewed its own widebody kit for the C8 that includes a Pagani Zonda Cinque-inspired roof scoop.
