Mini has just unveiled a limited-run variant of the Countryman dubbed the Boardwalk. The British car manufacturer says it “is as equipped for the challenges of everyday life as it is for spontaneous excursions beyond the city limits and adventures on unpaved terrain.”

Adorning the exterior of the car is a Deep Laguna metallic paint scheme with black across the wheel arches, front bumper, side skirts, wing mirrors, roof, and 19-inch wheels. The name refers to the promenades of traditional seaside resorts in the UK. With this in mind, the Mini Countryman Boardwalk includes a unique model badge inspired by the wooden beams traditionally laid horizontally and diagonally along these promenades.

In the cabin, there are Boardwalk logos on the side sills and dashboard to give the car a unique touch. Various options from lesser Countryman models are also included, including the Interior Pack and Mini Excitement Pack that includes mood lighting, illuminated handles and external logo projections on the mirrors. There is also a digital gauge cluster and an 8.8-inch display, Apple CarPlay, real-time traffic information and various app-based services as part of the Navigation Pack.

Standard equipment also include the Mini Yours Leather and Comfort Plus Pack that bring heated seats, floor mats, park assist, front parking sensors and front and rear-view cameras.

The Mini Countryman Boardwalk is available with either a three-cylinder petrol engine producing 136 hp or a four-cylinder petrol with 178 hp.
