A decade ago, the Maserati Quattroporte was one of the most exotic sedans currently on sale but fast forward to now and early models can be picked up at a bargain price. Take this Quattroporte, for example.

This Quattroporte is currently up for sale through Northern Kentucky Auto Sales and has been outfitted with a host of questionable modifications but does have an asking price of just $12,995. While we wouldn’t part with our hard-earned money for a Maserati like this, we’re sure someone will.

Perhaps the most striking aspect of this Maserati is the bright orange paintwork that’s clearly been done in the aftermarket and certainly makes the car stand out. However, it’s not the paint that is the really questionable modification but instead, the absolutely horrific donk-style, 26-inch wheels. These wheels have chrome-painted spokes and solid orange-painted sections. The owner clearly hasn’t treated the wheels with much care as all four have been badly curbed.

The listing fails to make any mention of the vehicle’s mechanical history and if you’re buying a used Maserati, knowing every detail about the car’s history is very important.

What we do know is that the car has been driven just 67,141 miles (108,052 km) which isn’t very much considering its age and if the car’s been treated well, it should have many miles left in it. However, if the owner hasn’t regularly serviced the car, it could prove to be a money pit for anyone that might look to buy it.
