The Audi RS7 combines performance and a luxury in a way that few cars can, and this particular example is more special than most.

Recently put to the test by AutoTopNL, this RS7 has been outfitted with a host of visual and performance-focused modifications that transform it into an absolute animal. A tune to the engine from BR Performance and the fitment of a Milltek exhaust system mean its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 now pumps out 740 hp and 811 lb-ft (1,115 Nm) of torque.

The fitment of the new exhaust, which has also seen the catalytic converters removed, results in this RS7 roaring in a way the standard car simply cannot match. It pops and cracks and sounds like a V8 should, producing a cacophony that’s now hard to come by in the world of soft limiters and noise regulations.

The modifications also mean this RS7 is able to pick up speed at a dizzying rate. In a straight line and without using launch control, it hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.92 seconds during a high-speed run along an unrestricted section of the Autobahn. It also did the quarter-mile in 11.37 seconds at 205 km/h (127 mph) and reached a top speed of 313 km/h (194 mph).
