This Is An Intriguing Electric City Car FCA And PSA Could Produce

The merger between FCA and PSA that will form the Stellantis group will lead to the creation of the world’s 4th larger global automotive manufacturer by volume and is expected to spawn a plethora of parts-sharing new models.

As the costs of developing and manufacturing electric vehicles continues to drop, it’s possible that Stellantis will look to produce an affordable A-segment EV – and that’s exactly what these renderings from designer Dejan Hristov depict.

The EV has been imagined in five different forms as five separate models that could be sold by Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, DS and Fiat. While the vehicles would share the same underpinnings, they could be differentiated from each other with unique styling.

In general, the small city car designed by Hristov has a curvaceous shape with short front and rear overhangs and a curved roofline. The front of the Peugeot variant, pictured in gold, includes the French automaker’s signature grille as well as sharp headlights and a U-shaped secondary grille.

Despite being based on the same platform and sharing most of its body panels, the Fiat version looks quite different thanks to the 500-esque headlights, unique grille, and bespoke wheels, while the Opel stands out with its elongated C-shaped LED headlights.
