More than 200 cars from the Muscle Car City museum in Punta Gorda, Florida are heading for the auction block at a Mecum event running from January 22-23.
The museum was created by Rick Treworgy and has a particular focus on Chevrolet, with no less than 80 Corvette models from every generation, The Drive notes. Treworgy had been planning to sell the collection in 2022, but after the coronavirus pandemic reduced visitors, Dana Mecum convinced him that now was the time to sell.
A look at the array of vehicles being sold during the auction reveals a plethora of unique and rare muscle cars that will no doubt attract bids from far and wide.

Vehicles that will be auctioned off by Mecum this Friday, January 22, include various Chevrolet pickups from the 1950s and 60s, a plethora of Chevrolet Camaros, Chevelles, Pontiac GTOs, Chevrolet Impalas, Bel Airs, and a particularly nice Chevrolet K5 Blazer that caught our eye.
On Saturday, the 23rd of January, no less than 48 Corvettes will be available to purchase, among other cars. Most of them are older models, including four Corvette ZR1s from 1990 and 1991 and a plethora of classic Corvette Stingray models. There will be some modern offerings as well, including a 2010 Corvette ZR1, a 2016 Corvette Z06, and a 2020 Corvette Stingray.
All of the vehicles being sold through the auction are being offered with no reserve.
