Citroen has revealed the facelifted C3 Aircross for the 2021 model year, with a redesigned front end, more personalization options, and new comfort features.

Inspired by Citroen’s CXperience concept, the updated small crossover model comes with a completely restyled face that includes a new bumper and grille, as well as new LED headlights as standard. The higher-set bonnet completes the changes, bringing the 2021 C3 Aircross in line with models like the new C4.

In addition, Citroen will offer the C3 Aircross with a total of 70 different exterior combinations, further boosting the personalization options of its predecessors. The new options include three new body colors – ‘Khaki Grey’, ‘Voltaic Blue’, and ‘Polar White’ – out of the seven color options in total, two new color packs that add eye-catching colored inserts on the exterior, and a choice of three roof colors.

The interior of the 2021 Citroen C3 Aircross has also been updated with the company’s much advertized Advanced Comfort seats, which feature unique padding, an extra 15 mm of foam, and reinforced support, as well as a new center console with a large storage space that can be covered with a sliding shutter.

In addition, Citroen has added a new, larger 9-inch infotainment system with a “higher quality screen”, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Optional features include a wireless charging pad and Citroen’s Connect Assist.

The 2021 Citroen C3 Aircross can be fitted with up to 12 active safety systems, including a color heads-up display, Active Safety Brake, Park Assist, and the company’s latest Top Rear Vision reversing camera. Citroen’s advanced Grip Control with Hill Descent Assist system is also optional, improving the grip on most types of terrain despite the absence of an all-wheel-drive system.

The new 2021 Citroen C3 Aircross will become available with both petrol and diesel engines; these include the turbocharged 1.2-liter petrol in 108 HP (110 PS) and 128 HP (130 PS) outputs, as well as a 1.5-liter diesel with 108 HP (110 PS), and a 1.6-liter diesel with 118 HP (120 PS).

The first examples of the 2021 Citroen C3 Aircross will arrive at dealerships around Europe in June.
