Armored vehicle specialist Inkas has just unveiled their latest creation, this time a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban that offers enough protection for a king or a queen.

The armor package used by this Suburban is rated at CEN 1063 BR 6 which means it can withstand the bullets from an AK-47, as well as explosions from DM51 hand grenades. In addition to equipping the exterior body panels with armor plating, Inkas has fitted ballistic reinforced glass, stronger door hinges, run-flat tires, and an upgraded suspension system.

Customers seeking the ultimate in protection can also opt for a lightweight armoring package, a siren and intercom system, heavy-duty braking components, a fire suppression system, heavy-duty wheels, and emergency lights. Inkas recommends the installation of its executive interior package that includes a separate bulkhead between the front and second row, a full-size LED screen, and a premium audio system.

For the most part, the interior of a Suburban upgraded by Inkas is largely the same as an everyday, run-of-the-mill Suburban and that’s a good thing as the cabin is both spacious and luxurious.

Inkas will work on any 2021 Suburban, regardless of what engine it has. As a reminder, the SUV is available with a 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel inline-six with 277 hp and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) of torque as well as a 5.3-liter V8 and a 6.2-liter V8 that deliver 355 hp and 383 lb-ft (519 Nm) and 420 hp and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) respectively.
