There are few Porsche models as iconic as the 356A Speedster and if you have the money for it, there’s a particularly gorgeous example up for auction in Kingston, Massachusetts.

This 1957 Porsche 356A Speedster was refurbished by Weldon Scrogham approximately 20 years ago and was acquired by the current owner in 2014. It is being sold with a tool roll, recent service records, and a clean Florida title in the owner’s name.

When it was new, this 356A Speedster left the factory painted white but during its refurbishment, it was repainted green and features body-color bumpers with chrome overriders, dual exhaust outlets, a single side-view mirror, gold badges, leather hood straps, and chrome headlight grilles.

Contrasting the green paint is a tan-colored soft top but the sale also includes a black tonneau cover. The car sits on 15-inch steel wheels mounted with 175/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. Found at all four corners are hydraulic drum brakes.

The interior of this car listed through Bring A Trailer is just as gorgeous as the exterior and includes fixed-back bucket seats clad in tan leatherette with brown piping. This leather trim continues across the door panels and upper portion of the dashboard. Also found within is Oatmeal square-weave carpeting on the seatbacks, footwells, and sills.

Powering the car is a replacement flat-four engine that was rebuilt and enlarged to 1,720 cc by Klub Sport Racing in November 2014. A high-torque starter was also installed in December 2018 and in August 2020, Dual Zenith 32 NDIX carburetors were fitted.
