The Honda Civic is one of the world’s most iconic and popular compact models. For some reason, the owner of one example in Cleveland, Ohio has decided to turn it into a pickup truck and is now selling it on Facebook Marketplace.

We recently came across the listing while browsing the ‘Cleveland buy sell trade’ group. The car is cheap, with a $2,700 asking price, so if you like it, funds shouldn’t be a problem.

The two images of the car included in the listing reveal that the front of the silver Civic looks completely standard. However, the body of the Civic abruptly ends right behind the doors and makes way for a pickup bed.

It is unclear if the pickup bed has been transplanted from another vehicle or if it has been custom-made. Whatever the case may be, it only looks half-finished and still has bare steel. We doubt it has much load capacity either as the Civic was never engineered as a pickup truck. For what it’s worth, however, the bed does appear quite well sized.

The seller adds in the listing that the car needs a catalytic converter and once it’s got that, it will be ready for the road. It has been driven 142,000 miles (228,000 km), which isn’t anything to worry about in the world of Hondas.
