Carlex Design has just completed work on its latest project, this time involving a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter that is dripping in exuberance.

Dubbed the Urban Edition, the exterior of the Sprinter is clad in black and sits on a set of aftermarket six-spoke 18-inch wheels also finished in black and wrapped in 255/55 R18 Continental VanContact tires. Carlex has also equipped the van with unique bumpers and a matte grey graphics package just to let other motorists know that this is no ordinary Sprinter.

Then we come to the interior. Carlex has trimmed much of the cabin in high-quality Nappa leather that also includes Carlex branding on the center of the seats. Further adding to the luxurious feeling of the van is an Alcantara headliner, ambient lighting, and a unique steering wheel with a leather cover.

While the front row of the upgraded Sprinter looks like a nice place to sit, it is in the rear where things have been taken to a new level. For example, the van features Carlex’s Bus Floor System that includes a padded carpet, various different configurations for the seats and tables, and folding countertops.

As you probably already guessed, the Urban Edition package isn’t cheap. In fact, it commands a price tag of €18,995 (US$23,278), excluding the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter itself.
