Bentley has revealed the latest work of its Design Services department, which helped create a unique yacht interior modeled after a customer’s Continental GT V8 Coupe.

Bentley Design Services collaborated with Contest Yachts in this project, creating a bespoke nautical trim that matches the yacht owner’s Continental GT. The two-door Bentley features Hotspur red leather, combined with contrasting Linen beige hide in its interior and the same theme was recreated inside a new 18-meter-long Contest 59 CS yacht.

The yacht’s cabin also features Bentley’s signature diamond-in-diamond stitching, which requires exactly 712 stitches per diamond and a high level of skill to produce on a special machine exclusive to Bentley only. The Contest yacht also features a deep blue hull that perfectly compliments the Light Sapphire paint finish of the owner’s Continental GT.

“This project was an opportunity for Bentley Design Services to showcase some of their many skills in a truly unique collaboration,” said Brett Boydell, Head of Bentley Design Collaborations. “Bentley cars embrace qualities of craftsmanship and styling that are only achieved at the highest level of nautical design.”

“We are well-known for our thorough approach to customization, which allows us to fulfill the expectations and preferences of every customer,” said Arjen Conijn, CEO and Co-Owner of Contest Yachts. “This project is the ultimate example of this approach – working with Bentley to turn a customer’s dream into reality.”

The Bentley Continental GT V8 is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter engine producing 542 HP (550 PS) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. 0-60 mph comes in 3.9 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds), while top speed is set at 198 mph (318 km/h).
