The one thing missing from BMW’s i4 reveal back in March was a look at the interior. BMW is getting ready to show us the inside of its Tesla Model fighter tonight, along with the M50 performance version. But why wait til tonight when we’ve got the pics right now?

Four shots of the i40’s interior appeared on photographer Wilco Blok’s Instagram page showing the full i4 interior, including a close-up look at the huge curved dashboard display.

Just as the exterior of the i4 was previewed by the i4 concept, so was the interior. And just like the exterior, the interior has been toned down for production.

The standout feature is the new multimedia screen that combines a digital instrument display with a wide infotainment touchscreen running BMW’s latest iDrive 8 software.

But the rest of the interior looks surprisingly conservative, right down to the ICE-style gear selector in the console – a feature not present on the concept.

Also due to be unveiled tonight is the 544 hp M50 version of the i4. We’ve already seen the front of the car thanks to a leak last month, and now, courtesy of another leak, we’ve got a look at the rear too, including its rear diffuser, but definitely no quad exhaust pipes.

We’ll update this story as soon as we know more.
