A rare Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato has just been delivered to its fortunate owner in the U.S.

The British car manufacturer is building just 19 examples of the DBS GT Zagato and the car can only be purchased alongside one of the 19 DB4 GT Zagato Continuation models also being manufactured by Aston Martin. This particular DBS GT Zagato is unique for a number of reasons.

For example, the car is finished in a bespoke shade of Satin Grey and is expected to be the only one that doesn’t feature the Gold trim package and instead has forged carbon fiber badges.

The DBS GT Zagato is based around the DBS Superleggera and as such, features the same 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that ordinarily pumps out 715 hp but has been uprated to 760 hp for this limited-edition model. While we suspect that most owners won’t drive their cars very frequently, it’s nice to know that if they do, they have a vehicle that matches its insane looks with incredible performance.

One of the most unique features of the DBS GT Zagato is the front grille, showcased perfectly in this video from Miller Motorcars. It is made of up 108 diamond-shaped pieces of carbon fiber and when the car is turned off, these pieces are all closed. However, when the car is turned on, the grille opens up, adding a sense of theater to the whole experience.
