Mugen has previewed some of the parts it will soon offer for the new Honda Civic Hatch.

The bodykit has only been showcased through two images but we still get a good look at . At the front, you will inevitably notice a blacked-out splitter that adds some aggression to the nose of the hatchback. Complementing this new splitter are blacked side skirt extensions and small stickers on the lower part of the rear doors. Alterations continue at the rear where there is a fixed trunklid spoiler and black bumper add-ons.

Mugen notes that the Honda Civic Hatch pictured is also equipped with unique 18-inch forged aluminum wheels and that it also offers a sports exhaust system. Moreover, it also plans to offer some interior parts for the Civic.

Full details, including pricing and images, of Mugen’s full array of parts will be released on September 5. As is so often the case with Mugen parts, it remains unclear if the accessories will be available to owners outside of Japan and if so, which other markets will get them.

As it stands, we know that the 2022 Civic Hatchback is touching down on U.S. shores before the end of the year. Customers seeking the most performance will be able to order it with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder producing 180 hp and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque, while a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder with 158 hp and 138 lb-ft (187 Nm) will also be offered.
